Tandem achieves Planet Mark Zero Commitment

Issued: Wednesday 25th February 2026
We are delighted to announce that Tandem Property Asset Management is now a Planet Mark Certified Net Zero Committed Business!

As Planet Mark members since 2021, reaching this milestone in our sustainability journey means we have measured our total carbon footprint to establish a robust net zero baseline, set both near term and long term net zero targets, and worked closely with Planet Mark to develop a Net Zero Transition Plan to support our decarbonisation ambitions.

Our ambition is to become a net zero organisation by 2030 from a 2025 baseline. While this is an ambitious target, it is one we are committed to achieving. To support this goal, we have set the following interim targets:

  • Reduce absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 37.8% by 2028
  • Reduce absolute Scope 3 emissions by 33.6% by 2028
  • Engage suppliers responsible for 80% of Purchased Goods and Services emissions to set their own net zero targets by 2028

Planet Mark’s Net Zero Certification Programme aligns with the principles of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) ‘Corporate Net Zero Standard’, ensuring our approach is grounded in climate science and best practice.

We are committed to reviewing and publicly disclosing our progress against our Net Zero Transition Plan each year, ensuring transparency and accountability as we work towards net zero and share our lessons learned. This commitment reinforces our role as a trusted partner, helping clients manage risk, meet regulatory and occupier expectations, and futureproof asset value through more resilient, sustainably managed buildings.

We are proud to be taking meaningful, measurable steps through Planet Mark’s Net Zero Certification Programme as part of our longstanding commitment to sustainability as an organisation and to delivering responsible property asset management for our clients.

Lisa Riva

“Committing to net zero was the logical next step for our business and our plans for the future. It reflects our continued ambition to lead on ESG and to embed sustainability into everything we do. This commitment is fully supported by the Board as we implement necessary changes in how we operate and how we work with our supply chain.”
Neelum Choudhury
Head of ESG at Tandem
“Our net zero commitment moves us from milestone to action. ESG has been central to Tandem’s ambitions from the start, and we now want to bring our supply chain and clients with us on this journey. Sustainability is no longer an add on to asset and property management — we will continue to advocate for and implement responsible property management in everything we do.”
