Instruction reflects Firefly’s hands-on, value-add investment strategy, backed by long-term family office capital that has already supported more than £100m of real estate transactions.
Tandem has been appointed property manager at Bedford Riverside, a leisure, hotel and residential scheme in Bedford town centre, following its acquisition by Firefly Capital Real Estate (FCRE) from Oval Real Estate. Tandem will work alongside FCRE providing full property management services for the asset.
Constructed in 2017, Bedford Riverside sits on the banks of the Great Ouse and comprises 120,000 sq ft of commercial floor area across three-acres. The scheme is anchored by a 100-bed Premier Inn and a seven-screen Vue Cinema, alongside food and beverage operators including Zizzi, Miller & Carter and Wagamama.
