Derick Jackson

Derick joined Tandem in 2026 as a Director in the Newcastle office, where he works alongside Regional Director Adam Hall to grow Tandem’s presence across the North East. A chartered surveyor with more than 25 years’ experience in property and asset management, Derick brings strong commercial judgement and a delivery-focused approach to managing Tandem’s client portfolios in the region.

Background

Derick has built his career across the North East, Midlands and London markets, managing major public and private sector portfolios, including retail parks, industrial estates and properties owned by ultra-high-net-worth individuals. His experience covers acquisitions, development projects, operational property management, asset enhancement and stakeholder engagement. Most notably, he worked on East Pilgrim Street in Newcastle across more than 20 years of ownership and development. Derick is known for his collaborative style and for delivering results in fast-paced, changing business environments.
