Tandem Welcomes Two New Associate Partners
We've started the month by welcoming two new Associate Partners to the Tandem regional offices.
Adam Hall joins our northern property management team and will be based in Durham. He previously worked at Avison Young where he specialised in the management of commercial property for a range of major multi-national property investors. He has also worked on large retail parks for a number of property companies, as well as a working on a national industrial that comprised of circa 1300 tenants.
Vicky Round has joined our Birmingham property management team. She also joins us from Avison Young where she worked on a large national industrial portfolio. She is involved in everything from day to day tenant queries, rent collection, service charge budgeting and monitoring, and monthly client reporting, in addition to general account management. She was involved in setting up the service charge recovery for two business parks owned by corporate clients in readiness for onward transfer to the estate management company.
We asked Vicky and Adam some questions about their new roles at Tandem.
What personal experience and expertise will you be bringing to Tandem?
A - I have over 8 years' experience within a successful property management team. Whilst this was based in Newcastle I have been managing UK wide assets for the last 5 years. My particular area of expertise include managing rent arrears and service charges across industrial and retail portfolios.
V - I have over 18 years of property management experience. I’ve previously worked for the big corporate companies, managing all commercial property types on behalf of both private investors and pension funds to name but a few. I’m a great believer in team work. No single person can successfully manage properties alone so interaction with both the facilities management team and accounting team is crucial. My aim is to provide an all-encompassing and first class service to both my clients and their tenants.
What are you most excited about being part of Tandem?
A - I'm really looking forward to the opportunity of a fresh challenge at Tandem, which will be a smaller and more nimble organisation than my previous employer. In particular I'm excited about the opportunity to use high class technology to deliver the best customer service in our market, and help capitalise on the opportunities to grow the business both in the North East, but also across the whole of the UK.
V - I’m looking forward to being involved at Tandem from near conception. The property management world is evolving so with efficiencies in the use of apps and technology to undertake the basics, I’m keen to see the changes as property managers become a business function forming part of both the landlords and tenants businesses.
