New Property Manager Joins London Team
We welcome Mark Inkster to the Tandem team this week after he left Avison Young and his role as Manager at Western International Wholesale Market. We have brought Mark in to the team to support our role at Shepherds Bush Market, which has recently been acquired by our client YOO Capital.
He takes on a dedicated property management role in the team supporting the client’s plans to revitalise this traditional West London market.
Mark joins the Tandem team to expand our unique experience and skills to deliver a hands on management role, detailed financial services and strategic asset management. Mark will work with Senior Partner John Jones and Asset Manager Jeremy Marchant, formerly with Moorfield.
Mark is a highly professional manager with a wide range of operational property experience primarily in the retail, leisure and markets sectors. His technical and communication skills make him the ideal manager for complex assets including shopping centres, leisure schemes and market operations. In the last 10 years he has managed a regional shopping centre in the SW before moving to become the Market Manager at Western International Wholesale Market near Heathrow in 2017.
He took on the role after a period of significant uncertainty for Western and worked closely with owners, LB Hounslow and all of the market traders to bring stability followed quickly by a new era of vibrancy for the market.
Mark has lived and worked in both the pub business and film industry in London and the South East for many years, and owns a restaurant business in West Sussex.
