client accountant

We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic Client Accountant to join the team.

 

The ideal candidate will have worked in the Property Sector before and be familiar with its systems and processes.

 

The successful candidate will have good teamwork ethic and enhanced communication skills. Full training will be given in the role and the in the use of our in-house accounting system.

 

Good IT skills are a must and Excel skills essential.

 

The role:

 

  • Delivering exemplary client service at all times

  • Being responsive and providing actions and business solutions with honesty and integrity

  • Working with your talented colleagues and service partners to deliver the best service

  • Adherence to RICS guidelines

Main duties and tasks include:

 

  • Preparation of the Service charge budget pack

  • Produce monthly financial reporting packs and take responsibility for client statement update and period closures

  • Maintain and update property service charge year end and budget information, monitor budget to actual reporting and actively manage shortfalls in service charge account

  • Preparation and completion of Service charge year end audit with surveyors and auditors

  • Quarterly reviews with surveyor and facilities manager to review service charge spend

  • Compilation of aged debtor reports and arrears commentary

  • Responsible for adherence to RICS regulated timelines and overseeing supplier and debtor ledgers

  • Reporting at client meetings, and main contact point for supplier and tenant queries

  • Manage and ensure maintenance of lease details on the database are completed accurately and in a timely manner
